Job summary

Taylor Corporation in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking a Production Scheduler to optimize master schedules for presses and production lines.

You will coordinate with sales, order entry, purchasing, production and engineering to meet delivery requirements, expedite when needed, and prepare performance reports. This role offers day-one benefits, a 2:00pm–10:30pm shift, and a chance to grow with a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to work with multiple systems and create tools via Excel or Access.
• Responsible for planning and scheduling materials through production schedules.
• May coordinate with purchasing, production, and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation; translates orders into a sequential work schedule.
• Plans and schedules workflow for press and operation.
• Confers with production and order entry staff to determine status of orders.
• Works closely with Sales/Client Care to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Expedites orders as agreed; meet unforeseen conditions.
• Prepares reports as needed.
