Job summary

Versatex is seeking a Production Support Operator for a Monday through Friday shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM to support the manufacturing line. You will load parts, hang them safely, verify measurements, and inspect quality to ensure smooth production flow.

Your responsibilities include loading, hanging hooks, measuring and counting parts, reviewing orders, and coordinating with team leads to meet production schedules while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing or loading experience preferred.
• Able to lift heavy parts (over 50 lbs) and perform repetitive lifts.
• Read and interpret job orders and work instructions.
• Basic measurement skills with measuring tools.
• Count items on pallets or skids to verify completeness.
• Detail-oriented with high quality standards.
• Strong communication for team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Parts Loading: Lift and load various parts onto pallets or fixtures per job specs.
• Safe Hanging: Attach hooks and fixtures to ensure safe hanging during production.
• Measurement and Counting: Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and counts.
• Quality Control: Visually inspect parts for defects before the line.
• Reading Paperwork: Review job orders, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate with team members and supervisors on priorities.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols while lifting heavy parts.
