Job summary

RTX Collins Aerospace in Fairfield, CA, is seeking a production assembler for an onsite shift 4:00pm–2:30am with overtime as needed. You will set up and assemble parts, use hand and machine tools, and follow procedures to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, the ability to obtain ATF access, and some manufacturing experience. Knowledge of Citrix, SAP, Word and Excel is a plus, with strong attention to detail and safety practices.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent (e.g. G.E.D. in the US) is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain ATF access is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and assemble parts.
• Demonstrate proper use of hand and machine tools.
• Read and follow procedures, routing and work instructions.
• Ensure product quality meets standards with no defects.
• Meet customer deadlines and expectations for parts.
• Stay compliant with quality systems.
• Participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement activities.
• Participate in audits.
• Obtain applicable skill/knowledge/certifications as required.
• Maintain clean and orderly workspace.
• Report progress and issues to lead or supervisor.
