Job summary

ManpowerGroup is assisting a Columbus, NE manufacturing client in recruiting a Production Operator to join the Production Department and support manufacturing and quality teams. The ideal candidate shows attention to detail, self-motivation and dependability for a 6:00 PM–6:00 AM shift, including weekends.

Key duties include packaging finished products to quality standards, stocking materials, completing production documentation, operating automatic box-closing equipment, and keeping a clean

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Steel toe or composite toe shoes required.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend documentation in English.
• Ability to work independently on a rotating 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM shift schedule, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Package finished products according to established quality standards.
• Stock and replenish packaging materials throughout the production area.
• Complete quality and production documentation accurately and timely.
• Operate automatic box-closing equipment and move pallets using a pallet jack.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following GMP requirements and safety procedures.
