Job summary

Swire Coca-Cola is hiring a Production Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain all assets within the production facility. You will identify, troubleshoot, and repair problems in production equipment and processes to keep lines running smoothly.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, line set-ups, equipment overhauls, and inventory management. The role requires a high school diploma, 18+ years, forklift certification within 1 month, weekend/holiday work, and ability to lift 50

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED) required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must become forklift certified within 1 month of hire.
• Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs on production equipment between shifts and line changes to maintain product quality.
• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance to prolong useful life of equipment.
• Pre-production: perform equipment change-overs and line set-ups for production.
• Overhaul and install new equipment as directed by the business.
• Rebuild, fabricate and manage parts inventory to ensure adequate stock.
• Attend meetings and assist with special projects and events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
