Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a Process Grinder to join our Whitesboro, NY manufacturing team. The role involves operating high-speed grinding wheels and an automatic polishing robot to finish and inspect parts, ensuring proper contour, dimension, and end-match as per process sheets.

Candidates should read process sheets, maintain gauges, and comply with PPE and safety standards. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to remain focused on tasks throughout scheduled hours.
• Must be a self-motivated and dependable worker.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed grinding wheels, bobs, and emery belts to perform final polish operations on parts.
• Operate automatic polishing robot.
• Remove stock from parts to maintain proper visual appearance, contour, dimension, and end match.
• Change and dress wheels, belts, and bobs as required.
• Read and interpret process sheets and polish to quality to guillotine, and dimensional requirements.
• Polish all required gauges and process sheets.
• Follow all safety and health policies, including the use of all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the position.
