Job summary

4over in Miami, FL is seeking a Packer for the 2nd shift to prepare finished printed materials for shipment, ensuring quality and accurate documentation. You will support the cutting department, manage packing materials, and maintain a safe, organized workspace.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) and involves lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and adhering to safety guidelines in a climate-controlled production plant.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience in a manufacturing environment and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Strong problem-solving skills when faced with unexpected challenges in production, etc.
• Time Management & Efficiency: Manage multiple print jobs, meet deadlines while preserving quality.

Responsibilities

• Work with Cutter Operator to follow specifications for form/batch cuts
• Identify quantity of form and type of stock to secure correct boxes for packing
• Off-load product from cutter tables and ensure labels are visible for delivery
• Conduct initial inspection of products to ensure quality control
• Track inventory by order number to ensure compliance
• Box completed jobs safely and notify QC when ready for inspection
• Maintain and organize packing materials and supplies
• Relocate full bins of waste for recycling and replace with empty bins
• Prepare shift change setup and communicate safety protocols
• Report injuries or near misses to management
• Wear PPE as required and attend department meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned
