Job summary

Peerless-AV is seeking an experienced fabrication technician in Illinois to set up and run fabrication jobs in a Monday–Friday shift from 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm. You will perform tool selection for bends, ensure ISO quality standards, and supervise operators, with emphasis on safety and product accuracy.

overtime and weekend work may be required. The ideal candidate has at least four years of fabrication experience, can read shop orders and drawings, and can work with a variety of machinery

Qualifications

• Read shop orders, drawings, and routings.
• Ability to determine proper tooling for bends.
• Quality control in ISO environment.
• Supervise and inspect operators’ work.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run fabrication jobs.
• Verify materials and in-process specs.
• Document in-process specs and paperwork.
• Maintain safety and report machine issues.
• Produce prototypes and inspection forms.
