Job summary

Rack & Riddle is seeking a PM Mechanic II to maintain bottling and facility equipment on a 2:30pm start shift. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and operate production lines including fillers, cappers and labelers.

The role requires 2–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience, basic electrical/plumbing/carpentry skills, and the ability to read technical instructions. A valid driver’s license and strong safety record are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing/production.
• Troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Basic mechanical skills and understanding of equipment maintenance.
• Comfortable performing maintenance tasks independently.
• Proficiency with computer-based work order systems and equipment monitoring.
• Adherence to safety procedures for equipment operation and maintenance.
• Flexible schedule for shift changes and overtime during harvest season.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and carpentry tools and safety.
• Proficiency with tools and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Keeps accurate records and communicates well with peers and supervisors.
• Ability to read error messages on machinery.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and solutions-focused.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections on bottling line equipment.
• Maintains maintenance logs and equipment records for bottling and facilities.
• Diagnoses and repairs equipment malfunctions and supports facility projects.
• Assists with installation and setup of equipment and systems.
• Performs welding, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, refrigeration and HVAC tasks as needed.
• Follows blueprints and instructions to plan and layout assignments.
• Operates and maintains production machinery/tools, conveyors and storage systems.
• Drives company vehicles for parts pickup as required.
• Maintains safety and housekeeping standards on shift.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
