Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of recent residential and commercial plumbing experience.
• Michigan Journeyman or Master Plumber License required.
• Knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems, National Plumbing Code, plumbing safety practices, and tools.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Desire to mentor and teach adult learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and laboratory instruction that teaches plumbing installation, maintenance, repair, and safety.
• Incorporate hands-on training aligned with curriculum and resources.
• Mentor adult learners and support student engagement.
• Prepare lesson plans and assess student progress.
• Ensure safety and proper use of shop equipment and tools.
