Job summary

Pretium Packaging is hiring a Shift Supervisor for our Troy, Alabama plant. This third shift role starts around 9:45 pm and requires guiding the shift, ensuring production schedules, staffing, and quality control run smoothly.

You will lead on-floor activities, enforce safety, and mentor new staff to maintain high standards. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of plastics supervisory experience, strong leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in plastics manufacturing or blow/injection molding environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
• Ability to analyze operations, address bottlenecks, and ensure safety and quality on the shift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shift operations, production schedules, staffing, and quality control.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and a clean, organized work area.
• Train and mentor new employees for on-shift readiness and performance.
• Monitor processes to identify issues and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and departments to boost efficiency.
• Conduct periodic performance evaluations and provide coaching.
