Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories is seeking a Phlebotomist for evening shifts (10-hour days, 40 hours/week) in Mesa, AZ. The role may service Hospital Facilities, PSCs, in-office phlebotomy, or mobile diagnostics, with coverage across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, proper labeling, data entry into the LIS, and ensuring specimen integrity. Minimum requirements include phlebotomy training or experience and phlebotomy certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.
• Possession of a valid state driver's license in the state of employment (where required).
• Must be flexible to travel across locations and work evenings/weekends.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Specimen collection and receipt into the department with proper patient and specimen identification.
• Enter and verify patient demographics, tests requested, and collection data into the system.
• Prepare samples for testing and assist in initial processing and transport.
• Maintain quality and productivity standards; documentation and reporting for quality assurance.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external customers; support multiple locations as needed.
• Adhere to HIPAA and privacy requirements.
