Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories/Laboratory Sciences of Arizona (SQL/LSA) is seeking a full-time phlebotomist for the evening shift across multiple locations in Colorado. The role includes specimen collection, processing, accurate data entry, and proper specimen handling to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Able to work at hospital facilities, PSCs, in-office phlebotomy, or mobile services, with flexibility to cover locations and shifts.

Qualifications

• Completion of a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.
• Knowledge of privacy regulations (HIPAA) and patient rights.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process specimens with correct patient and specimen identification.
• Enter and verify patient demographics, tests, and collection data in the lab system.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute to appropriate areas.
• Label, aliquot, and transport specimens while maintaining specimen integrity.
• Provide coverage across multiple locations and support departmental quality initiatives.
