Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Phlebotomy training.
• ASCP certification or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Specimen collection including venipuncture across age groups.
• Receive, label, and prioritize specimens (STAT, STROKE, CSF).
• Transport and redistribute specimens per protocol.
• Register courier-delivered specimens and troubleshoot printers.
• Order tests accurately using hospital information systems.
