Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work at Ascension St. Mary's in Milwaukee, WI. Schedule: Mon-Fri with early/late start times and every other weekend and holiday.

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques, collect specimens for tests, enter data accurately, and travel to additional sites as needed. Minimum qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; preferred phlebotomy certification or 6+ months of experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in phlebotomy is preferred or completion of a training program.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, tests, and other analyses.
• Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients and travel to additional sites as needed.
