Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is seeking a Phlebotomist for a part-time, evening position. The role involves obtaining and processing laboratory specimens to support high-quality results, with LIS and clerical duties as needed.

The ideal candidate has a phlebotomy certificate or equivalent training, some experience preferred, and strong communication and customer service skills. No license is required, and orientation to our facility will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Phlebotomy certificate program preferred.
• At least 3 months of active phlebotomy experience preferred.
• No license required; phlebotomy certification from a program preferred.
• Recent graduates of phlebotomy programs may be considered in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs LIS / computer operations and clerical functions as needed.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
• Other duties as assigned.
