Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr Phlebotomist to join Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL. This full-time role operates on a 4:00am-2:30pm schedule with rotating weekends and holidays.

The position supports processing of laboratory specimens and LIS/computer operations. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years phlebotomy experience, and national certification (ASCP/AMT/ASPT/NCA).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Phlebotomy certificate program preferred.
• At least 2 years of active phlebotomy experience required.
• The applicant must possess current skills in the required areas.
• Phlebotomy Certificate from an accredited phlebotomy program and a National Certification with one of the following recognized organizations: ASCP, AMT, ASPT, or NCA.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required.
