Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• ASCP Registered or NCA Certification preferred.
• 0–1 year related work experience required.
• Basic familiarity with computers and web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures, including blood culture collection and fingersticks with proper ID/labeling.
• Perform and report bleeding times according to SOPs.
• Ensure adequate stocking of supplies and report needs to phlebotomy leaders.
• Transports specimens from collection site to testing site.
• Participates in QA, competency, mandatory training and continuing education programs.
