Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our expanding team. The role performs phlebotomy on all patients, ensures patient identification, labels specimens accurately and transports samples to the lab.
This position requires a high school diploma or GED, ASCP Registered or NCA Certification preferred, 0–1 year experience, and basic computer skills. Evening shifts, 40 hours per week, rotating holidays and weekends; vaccination against influenza is required.

Phlebotomists performs phlebotomy services on all patients at BIDMC. This person obtains patient identification and maintains vein preservation and specimen labeling procedures. A Phlebotomist transports routine and STAT specimens to appropriate laboratories.
Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Some elements of the job are sedentary, but the employee will be required to stand for periods of time or move through out the hospital campus
