• Organizes, prioritizes, and obtains blood draw requests including STAT and timed draws.
• Operates hospital tube system for specimen receipt and distribution.
• Receives outpatient specimens and verifies patient information.
• Uses Hospital Information System to order/cancel/add lab tests and retrieve patient data.
• Greets visitors and manages reception duties.
• Handles mail and assists with daily work assignments and training.
