Job summary

CPS Healthcare, based in Boston, is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for the Suffolk House of Correction shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM).

You will receive, verify, and order prescriptions, verify medications, maintain stock and records, and ensure the pharmacy area remains clean and compliant with security rules. The role requires high school graduation and Pharmacy Technician Certification.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• Must be able to pass a facility background check.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, verifying and ordering prescriptions.
• Verifies delivered medications for accuracy using the Physician Order Sheet and packing list.
• Keeps accurate records as directed by the D.O.N. and maintains the pharmaceutical library.
• Maintains the pharmacy area in a clean and orderly manner.
• May be asked to work beyond regular hours to meet needs.
