Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining inventory, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a hospital setting. You will work under a licensed pharmacist, perform sterile and non-sterile compounding, unit-dose packaging, and medication delivery with attention to safety and accuracy.

The role includes an evening shift, 6-hour blocks, and a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Deadline for applications is 10/03/2026.

Qualifications

Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the U.S.
High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Wisconsin registration as a pharmacy technician is required.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or certification within three months of hire is required.
Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
Must have a cell phone interfacing with the organization’s secure messaging system.

Responsibilities

Prepare, compound, and label medications, including sterile IV admixtures and TPN, per USP standards.
Repackage bulk meds into unit-dose packaging with proper labeling and documentation.
Retrieve, deliver, and refill meds in automated dispensing systems (e.g., Pyxis) and ensure proper stocking and dating.
Maintain and stock crash carts and emergency kits.
Deliver medications across the facility while following chain-of-custody procedures.
Order meds and supplies based on par levels and usage patterns.
Receive, unpack, and store medication deliveries with accurate counts and stock rotation.
Maintain drug barcodes in pharmacy software for accurate tracking and dispensing.
