Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our Team. Under the supervision of the Pharmacist in Charge, you will perform sterile compounding, audit controlled substances, and ensure compliance with policies.

You will also refill and deliver medications to Pyxis machines and through the facility, and review daily surgical schedules for medication readiness. The role includes medication reconciliation for surgery patients and collaboration with

Qualifications

Eligible to work in the United States.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program.
Certified Pharmacy Technician license with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy.
AHA BLS Certification.
Strong verbal and written English communications for safe patient care and documentation.

Responsibilities

Sterile compounding of pharmaceuticals and maintaining sterile environments.
Audit controlled substance use and ensure compliance with pharmacy policies.
Refill and deliver pharmaceuticals to Pyxis dispensing machines and throughout facility.
Review daily surgical schedule and ensure medications are ready for upcoming surgeries.
Conduct medication reconciliation for patients undergoing surgery.
Collaborate with pharmacists and nursing staff to support medication safety.
