Job summary

Technology Consulting Inc. has an immediate need for a Second Shift Pharmacist in Greensburg, PA. This contract-to-hire opportunity requires on-site work and a PharmD or equivalent degree.

The successful candidate will dispense medications, counsel patients, ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, and supervise pharmacy staff while maintaining accurate patient records. Oklahoma license noted in posting but PA license required here; verify licensed in PA.

Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent degree.
• Active, unrestricted PA pharmacist license.
• Experience with compounding infused drugs.
• Experience evaluating and monitoring drug therapies for home care patients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accept and dispense prescription medications.
• Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns.
• Ensuring that the supply of medicines is within the law.
• Ensuring that the medicines prescribed to patients are suitable.
• Maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy files.
• Advise patients about medicines and interactions.
• Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications.
• Educate patients on handling of medical devices.
