Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen in Lafayette, IN is seeking an Inspector (PDI) for the 2nd shift (4:30pm-1am) to inspect accessory items and ensure defect-free vehicles proceed in our production line.

You will perform external/internal visual checks, operate a scanner to verify correct pieces, and install labels as required, working in a team to meet quality goals. Overtime may be required in a safe, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail required.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Good driving record and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect functionality of lights, doors, locks, windows, and other accessory items.
• Perform external/internal visual checks for damage and defects.
• Perform function checks for each button, light, safety feature and other vehicle functions.
• Utilize scanner to ensure correct pieces are placed in the vehicle.
• Install required labels.
