Job summary

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) at Jefferson Health–Abington Memorial Hospital supports the clinical team by delivering direct and indirect patient care under supervision. The Evening shift provides compassionate, patient-centered assistance, facilitates telehealth encounters when needed, and helps maintain a safe and clean care environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, knowledge of medical terminology, strong communication and teamwork, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Nursing assistant or healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge: medical terminology and patient care needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under licensed clinician supervision.
• Communicate with interprofessional team and patients/families to coordinate care.
• Maintain a safe patient environment and assist with supplies/equipment.
• Support telehealth encounters as needed by campus operations.
