The Valley Hospital in Paramus, NJ is seeking a per diem Transport Aide for evening shifts (3:00pm - 11:30pm). You will safely transport patients, requisitions, specimens, charts and related items and assist with transport tasks as needed.

Experience is not required; we seek reliable individuals with strong English communication, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing workload and schedules. Per diem hours vary with departmental needs at Valley Health System.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Good communication skills with patients, families and health care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transport of patients, personal effects, requisitions, specimens, charts, and miscellaneous items.
• Assist with patient transport activities as required.
• Communicate effectively with patients and health care team; respond quickly to needs.
