Job summary

Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids is seeking a part-time Nutrition Services aide to support patient meal service. You will participate in answering phones, assembling trays, delivering and picking up meals, and maintaining sanitation.

No prior experience needed; training provided. You will work evening shift 3:30PM-7:30PM, 16 hours per week, with rotating weekends. This role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within the department.

Qualifications

• No experience required; you will be fully trained and supported.
• Ability to follow dietary and safety standards.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains serving lines including dishes, silverware, hot and cold food items, condiments.
• Assembles and prepares cold items like salads and desserts and ensures proper storage and dating.
• Delivers trays to patients verifying room and bed numbers and patient names.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and work areas, and maintains sanitary conditions.
• Operates the cash register and handles payments when required.
