Job summary

Banner Boswell Medical Center in Sun City, AZ is seeking a Room Service Attendant to provide patients with menus, collect meal requests, and coordinate with Dietetic Technicians and Dietitians to ensure accurate, timely service.

This part-time role (20 hours/week) involves rounding patient meal service, learning dietary orders, and upholding food safety standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and mathematical skills.
• Effective interpersonal communication and friendly customer service.
• Ability to learn and follow safety guidelines and use POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients to obtain or discuss menu selections based on dietary orders.
• Enter daily patient meal selections and preferences.
• Provide patient meal service, set up tray stations and assemble patient trays.
• Deliver meals and accommodate special requests.
• Maintain food handling and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with Dietetic Technicians and Dietitians as needed.
