Job summary

Physicians Regional Healthcare System is seeking a motivated Patient Care Technician for Pine Ridge in Naples, FL. You will support nursing staff, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a safe patient environment.

Responsibilities include recording vital signs, assisting with meals and hygiene, and communicating effectively with the care team while following infection control guidelines. CNA preferred and 0-2 years acute care experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a nursing program preferred.
• Basic knowledge of patient care practices and equipment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with basic patient care and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Record vital signs and patient data; report to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assist with meals, bathing, grooming, linen changes, and mobility tasks.
• Support patient positioning and use mobility aids.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the care team.
• Maintain infection control and PPE protocols.
