Job summary

Piedmont McDuffie Hospital in Thomson, GA is seeking a Patient Care Tech to assist with patient care under the supervision of licensed clinicians. You will perform tasks and use equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.

The position is the evening shift (11:00am-11:00pm), with three 12-hour shifts per week and every other weekend. GED preferred; BCLS required on hire; CNA or PCT certification preferred; no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma preferred.
• No experience required; 1 year of patient care preferred.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) on hire required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Certification from a Patient Care Technician program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of licensed clinical staff.
• Demonstrate competency with treatments, procedures and equipment as per hospital policy.
