Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a dedicated patient care teammate for the evening shift in a high-acuity adult acute care unit. You will help with daily living activities, monitor patients, support the RN with observations, and contribute to a safe, respectful environment through clear communication and teamwork.

This 40-hour schedule runs 2:30 PM–11 PM, with every other weekend and holidays, and may include a signing bonus eligibility discussed during the interview.

Responsibilities

• Provides clear, timely communication to RN regarding observations and changes in patient condition.
• Performs constant observation of high-risk patients as assigned.
• Assists in daily living activities and mobility.
• Maintains patient safety and uses safety techniques in all tasks.
• Collects specimens and assists with basic procedures under supervision.
