Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Nursing Support professional to provide direct and indirect patient care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. You will assist with daily living activities and monitor patient conditions in a part-time evening shift.

Responsibilities include vital signs, ECGs, capillary glucose checks, and reporting changes. A high school diploma is required; certification processes may be completed within 90 days if not already certified.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1 year experience in a patient care role is preferred.
• On hire, employee must complete onsite nursing certification program within 90 days (if not certified).

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care under supervision of the RN.
• Contributes to the plan of care based on physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs.
• Performs basic monitoring such as vital signs, ECGs, and capillary glucose checks; observes equipment and treatments.
