Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital admissions or patient access role is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with diverse populations.
• Ability to input and retrieve data accurately using a computer.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients or representatives to obtain demographics.
• Gather insurance information, eligibility, benefits and authorizations.
• Collaborate with Admitting department and reception areas.
• Operate computer to input and retrieve data.
