Qualifications

• Customer Services experience required.
• High School Graduate or GED Equivalent Required (effective 4/1/14 for all new hires)

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients or representatives to obtain demographics.
• Secures insurance information, eligibility, benefits and authorizations.
• Works with Admitting PBX operator and reception areas.
• Operates computer to input and retrieve data.
• Communicates with diverse age groups using age-appropriate techniques.
• Maintains proficiency in medical terminology.
• Performs special projects within set timeframes.
