Job summary

ACTIVSTARS is seeking a Part-Time Cheer Coach for the Dallas Metro/Fort Worth area, with one consistent weeknight. You will coach three age groups in cheer basics, dance, and pom routines, and participate in 3–4 paid weekend events per semester.

The ideal candidate has cheerleading or coaching experience, enjoys working with children aged 4–15, is energetic and a positive role model, is at least 18, and has reliable transportation. Paid training is provided.

Qualifications

• Has previous cheerleading and/or coaching experience.
• Enjoys working with children ages 4–15.
• Is positive, energetic and can serve as a strong role model.
• Is at least 18 years old.
• Has reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Preparing lesson plans and running weekly practices.
• Teaching skills safely and effectively.
• Choreographing routines and performance cheers.
• Introducing basic stunting fundamentals.
• Managing attendance and simple records.
