Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in New Haven, CT. The role requires 16-24 hours per week across 1st and 2nd shifts, paying $21.75 per hour. Previous security experience is required, with military/law enforcement as acceptable substitutions; training provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut State Guard Card REQUIRED.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of security experience REQUIRED (military/law enforcement experience may substitute).
• Calm, polite, and professional demeanor.
• Reliable and self-motivated with high level customer service.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol client sites on a variety of schedules.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring and patrolling the premise.
• Provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers.
