Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard for the Elkton, MD area on a part-time evening schedule. You will provide customer service, monitor and protect client sites, and respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner.

In this role you’ll work as part of a team, uphold site policies, perform regular patrols, and help maintain a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff at healthcare locations and other client sites. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
