Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse. The role supports patient movement, safety, and care coordination during the evening shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) with every other weekend and holiday rotations.

Base pay is $36.90 per hour plus applicable shift differentials, with benefits eligible. Responsibilities include providing Family Centered nursing care, communicating needs to the care team, and delivering care using evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current CPR certification; willingness to obtain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON as determined by manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assess individualized patient needs.
• Communicate care needs and priorities to LPNs, PCAs, unit coordinators, and Allied Health staff.
• Plan, implement, educate and evaluate care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Document according to organizational policies and procedures.
