Job summary

The Bethesdan Hotel in Bethesda, MD is seeking a part-time Line Cook to support our Front Office and Guest Experience teams. The role offers an hourly rate of $20 to $22, with evenings from 3pm to 11pm and weekends as required.

You will prepare food items to Crescent standards, maintain a safe, sanitary kitchen, and help keep the buffet stocked. English communication, teamwork, and a professional appearance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards.
• Start items prepared ahead of time; avoid over-preparing estimated needs.
• Rotate perishables and ensure proper temperatures.
• Check pars for shift use; assist in keeping buffet stocked.
• Return unused items to storage with date/cover.
• Assist in controlling food costs and reducing waste.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment safely.
• Be available to work regular hours and fulfilled duties as assigned.
