Job summary

The Building People, LLC, seeks a Part Time Janitor/Custodian to maintain and protect our facilities. Working 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 5-11pm, you will keep spaces clean and orderly and help prevent vandalism.

Ideal candidates are meticulous with strong physical stamina, able to pass a federal background check, and proficient in English to follow procedures and safety instructions. A high school diploma is preferred, and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and conscientiousness.
• Very good physical condition and strength.
• Must pass a basic federal background check.
• English literacy to perform duties and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces.
• Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets.
• Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock disposables (e.g. soap).
• Wipe mirrors and windows.
