Job summary

Iowa Home Care in West Des Moines, IA is seeking a Home Health Aide / CNA to help clients live safely and comfortably in their homes. Under RN supervision, you’ll provide compassionate personal care and support daily routines during visits. Part-time positions available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA certification in good standing preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in home care, nursing home, or hospital settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, and mobility support.
• Take and record vital signs as directed.
• Assist with toileting, catheter care, and G-tube care.
• Help with light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and vacuuming.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols using appropriate PPE.
• Communicate any changes in condition to the RN and care team.
• Offer emotional support and a compassionate presence during every visit.
