Job summary

City of Everett in Everett, MA is seeking a Parking Clerk to enforce parking regulations and support the public in a busy municipal environment. The position is full-time, evenings 2:30 PM–10:00 PM at Everett City Hall, with a pay rate of $25.18–$29.20 per hour and a 35-hour week.

Under supervision, duties include patrolling, issuing notices, reporting impoundment candidates, managing the Resident Sticker program, maintaining records, and interacting courteously with the public in outdoor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of parking laws and city ordinances preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with the public.

Responsibilities

• Enforce parking rules under supervision.
• Patrol areas, identify and report violations.
• Issue notices of violations in tag form.
• Identify vehicles eligible for impoundment.
• Enforce Resident Sticker program and issue tickets.
• Report damaged signs and signals.
