Job summary

Fastenal Co. is hiring for a Full-time Customer Site Packaging role at our Lafayette, IN location. You will help move products through a customer site, inspect and package items, and operate packaging machines in a fast-paced environment.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability, with a shift from 3:00pm to 11:00pm. On-site training and opportunities for career growth are provided within our large network of service locations.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks over long periods of time.
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed.
• Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork.
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs.
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
