Job summary

Herr Foods Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Machine Operator in the Nottingham, PA area for the Potato Room. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 3:30pm to 12am, with a retention bonus up to $250. Eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company match.

The position requires 18+ years of age, ability to lift 50 pounds, and 1–3 months of related mechanical experience. Join a team focused on quality packaging and on-site healthcare services.

Qualifications

• One to three months of related mechanical experience and/or training.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment and handle slippery surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Operate computerized weigh heads and packaging machines to ensure correct film, weight, price and date.
• Prepare machines for production start-up and perform routine changes.
• Clean and sanitize plant and equipment, including trays, ovens and floors.
• Enter production data into ERP and track material usage and status.
• Maintain real-time inventory levels and coordinate with teams for material replenishment.
• Perform other ERP-related duties as assigned.
