Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a part-time package handler in the United States. You will load and unload packages from feeder aircraft, sort by hand, and operate handling equipment safely and efficiently.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing and walking for long periods, and following safety policies. Schedule: Mon-Fri 5pm-9pm; E-Verify and equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow work duties and safety methods.
• Ability to discern numbers and information to sort packages correctly.
• Proficiency in English; able to communicate effectively.
• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level, with or without assistance.
• Able to walk, stand, bend and squat for designated hours; stairs/ladders as needed.
• Must complete and maintain all company and government training; yearly recertification.
• Able to complete basic and recurrent training.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload packages; operate equipment safely for feeder aircraft flow.
• Sort and hand-handle packages, loading to/from aircraft, vehicles, pallets.
• Identify conveyor routing by scanning labels and numbers; sort accordingly.
• Follow safety policies; stay alert and work in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
