Qualifications

• At least a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of one year experience working with disadvantaged populations.
• First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Excellent communication, multitasking and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Performs hourly rounds to ensure safety and security of the facility.
• Provides guidance and support for residents and facilitates group activities.
• Assists with meeting residents' practical needs (food, laundry, bedding).
• Monitors supplies, inventory and maintains the donations closet.
• Records donor information and sorts donated items.
• Distributes chores and supplies; reports inventory concerns.
• Documents interactions and incidents for licensing requirements.
• Greets visitors and supervises visitation; supports conflict resolution.
• Offers peer-support communication during night/weekend hours; assists with admin duties.
