PACS is seeking a licensed Medication Aide to assist in administering medications to residents under physician and nurse direction. You will follow facility policies and document all medication events, aiming to ensure safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities include reporting errors, supporting QA programs, maintaining proper labeling, and verifying resident identity before administration. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or equivalent.
• Must be a licensed Medication Aide with state-approved training and examination.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports and communicate effectively with managers and staff.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions and percentages.

Responsabilités

• Follow facility policies for medication administration.
• Document and report medication administration errors.
• Assist in developing procedures to reduce medication errors.
• Complete necessary forms and charts as required.
• Maintain professional relationships with Health Services staff and physicians.
• Ensure medications are properly labeled and charted.
• Observe residents and report adverse reactions.
• Verify resident identity before administering medication.
• Participate in QA and committees related to medication processes.

Formation
