Lemontree Healthcare is hiring an EVS Housekeeper for the Florida Medical Center, Lauderdale Lakes, FL. The role supports patient rooms, public areas and other spaces, ensuring cleanliness and infection control to maintain a safe healthcare environment.

The position is full-time with a 4:00pm-12:30am shift, Monday-Friday with every other weekend; rate of pay is $15.00 per hour. Previous healthcare housekeeping experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare cleaning experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Disinfection: Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways and public areas following infection control standards.
• Floor Care: Sweep, mop and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Trash & Linen Removal: Empty trash, replace liners and transport waste; deliver soiled linens to laundry.
• Inventory Maintenance: Restock cleaning supplies and report shortages to EVS Supervisor.
• Safety & Sanitation: Use PPE and maintain equipment in good condition.
• Patient Interaction: Provide friendly, respectful service while protecting patient confidentiality.
• Quality Control: Report cleanliness or safety concerns to EVS Supervisor or Manager.
• Compliance: Follow facility policies and infection prevention protocols.
