Job Type: Full-Time; Schedule: Monday-Friday, every other weekend; Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm; Rate of Pay: $15.00. Provide friendly, respectful service to patients and staff while following infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Healthcare cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks independently.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & disinfection of patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways, and public areas according to infection control standards.
• Floor care: sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Trash and linen removal; transport to disposal areas and laundry facilities.
• Inventory maintenance and restocking cleaning supplies; report shortages to EVS Supervisor.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE; ensure equipment is maintained.
• Provide friendly, respectful service to patients, visitors, and staff while maintaining confidentiality.
• Report cleanliness or safety concerns to EVS Supervisor or Manager.
• Adhere to facility policies and infection prevention protocols.

Lemontree Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented EVS Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. The EVS Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of patient rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces within the healthcare facility. This role ensures that all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control, supporting a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning & Disinfection: Perform routine cleaning of patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways, and public areas in accordance with established infection control and cleaning standards.
• Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, ensuring proper technique to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Trash & Linen Removal: Empty trash cans, replace liners, and transport waste to disposal areas. Collect soiled linens and deliver them to the appropriate laundry facilities.
• Inventory Maintenance: Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, ensuring all necessary materials are available for daily tasks. Report any shortages or issues to the EVS Supervisor.
• Safety & Sanitation: Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Ensure all cleaning equipment is functioning properly and is maintained in good condition.
• Patient Interaction: Provide friendly, respectful service to patients, visitors, and staff while maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity. Respond to special cleaning requests in patient care areas.
• Quality Control: Assist with quality assurance checks by reporting any concerns regarding cleanliness or safety hazards to the EVS Supervisor or Manager.
• Compliance: Adhere to all healthcare facility policies, state regulations, and infection prevention protocols.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but not required.
• Skills:
  • Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and push/pull heavy carts.
